Here's what we did today:
Spelling: Final test
Math: We took a 1 minute fact test and Assessment #5.
Reading: We took a test over our story, did a "hot read", and also worked at our literacy workstations.
I am sending home A.R. reports and mid-term grades today.

Spelling: We took a trial test over the first 10 words today. Final test on Friday over the first 10, or if your child passed the next ten are bonus words.
Math: We worked on writing money with the dollar sign and decimal point.
Reading: We read the second part of our story and worked at our literacy workstations.
Homework: Study Spelling

Happy Tuesday!
Here's what we did today:
Spelling: Trial test tomorrow over the first ten words.
Math : We worked on reading and writing numbers to 1,000 using digits.
Reading: We read the first part of our story and worked on realism and fantasy. We also worked at our literacy workstations.
Book-its calendars were sent home yesterday to start Oct. 1. I felt YOU
SHOULD set the goal since YOU KNOW how busy your family is. Of course the calendar can't be sent until Nov. 1. When your child turns in the calendar and it is signed, I will distribute a free personal pan pizza coupon from Pizza Hut.

Here's what we did today:
Spelling: Final test. From now on until further notice we will only have a test over the first 10 words. If those words are mastered then study the next 10. Our spelling words are more difficult this year.
Reading: We took a test and did a"hot read". We also worked at our literacy workstations.
Last math ISTEP test was given today. The children have worked hard on their tests. Great job!
If you have not signed up for a parent/teacher conference scheduled for Monday, Oct. 22 and Tuesday, Oct. 23, please call the office.
